“Stories that challenge, inspire, and reflect the world as it is—and as it could be.”
Hi, I’m Christina Minaki—an educator, novelist, editor, librarian, and disability rights advocate with two Master’s degrees from the University of Toronto. My books explore complex, real-life themes through dynamic characters, bringing authentic representation to young readers and beyond.
I’ve worked in academia, publishing, and social justice, focusing on expanding disability representation in literature.
I believe that stories have the power to change perspectives. Through my books and advocacy, I strive to challenge outdated narratives and create authentic, complex portrayals of disabled characters.
